Carpentaria delivers a range of community, allied health, education, training and direct care services and incorporates a fully operational Administration Building.
Carpentaria Stage 2 provides people with disabilities that are leaving school a pathway to further education and gives them an opportunity to develop essential skills to survive in everyday life. Currently there are no other service programs or buildings in Darwin that cater for this group of young people with disabilities.
The special use facility will incorporate:
- An adult day service centre with recreation, vocational and education facilities;
- Short term disability accommodation; and
- Aged care respite accommodation.
