From initial design concept, we completed full design and construction of a purpose built school and VET facility for Territory students with intellectual disabilities.
The new Henbury School needed to be a generalist facility catering for a full range of students with disabilities including high needs student requirements. The facility also needed to be future-proofed to absorb expected increases in the student population.
This purpose built special education school caters for 120 middle and senior year students. The school incorporates special facilities to engage students in VET pathway training programs to better prepare them for an independent life after school.
