Last week, Minister for Trade, Business and Asian Relations and Workforce Development Robyn Cahill OAM visited the Darwin Civic Centre redevelopment to see firsthand the progress being made on one of the most significant projects currently transforming the Darwin CBD.

Hosted by DCOH Chief Operating Officer Lachlan Michell and joined by Lord Mayor Peter Styles representing the City of Darwin, the visit highlighted the scale and ambition of the 21-storey development, a true public/private collaboration that will replace ageing civic facilities while also delivering ten levels of premium commercial office accommodation.

As Minister responsible for trade, business and workforce development, Minister Cahill was able to see how projects like the Darwin Civic Centre redevelopment are supporting economic growth, attracting investment and providing the high quality commercial accommodation expected of a modern capital city.
Sweeping views across Darwin Harbour are already beginning to emerge from the level four car park. On completion, occupants of the upper commercial floors will enjoy some of the most spectacular workplace views in the city.
Beyond the skyline, the project represents a new level of confidence in Darwin’s future, creating contemporary civic facilities, premium commercial workspace and a landmark destination that will contribute to the ongoing revitalisation of the CBD for many years to come.
